Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger divorce rumors continue to swirl in the tabloids, but "The Best Damn Thing" singer is mum on the issue. Instead, she broke her silence on the pregnancy and health reports.
The 30-year-old blond singer shocked her fans on Twitter last week when she revealed that she is dealing some "health issues" amidst her silence for the past months.
In a fan account @AvrilMusicChart conversation on Twitter, the "Girlfriend"and "Keep Holding On" singer revealed what she has been up to for the past months of her silence, Entertainment Online said in its report.
"I feel bad because I haven't been able to say anything to the fans to let them no [sic] why I have been absent," the Canadian singer and wife of Nickelback frontman Chad Kroegers said.
The "Complicated" singer also added in the conversation, "I'm torn as I'm quite private. I'm not feeling well. I'm having some health issues. So please keep me in your prayers."
Soon after, hashtags #GetWellSoonAvril and #PrayForAvril appeared and circulated in social media following her revelation, which the rock star claimed she's grateful for.
Reports also revealed that the singer's long silence since the celebration of her birthday was due to rumors that the news on Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger divorce is indeed true.
But the rep of the singer confirmed the news on her health problems and debunked the issue that she's pregnant with her husband of one year.
"The health issue could not be specified but it was confirmed that Lavigne is not pregnant, as some have speculated," the Billboard said.
Avril Lavigne debunked the issue that her silence is because of the spreading rumors that her marriage with the Nickelback's frontman is on the rocks.
A report from E! News suggested that the divorce rumors surrounding Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger could be attributed to jealousy on both sides. "She flirts, he flirts. She's very insecure to begin with," the report said.
