There were also rumors claiming that Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood dating started when they were spotted kissing on the set of the hit television show.
The news come in the amidst of reports saying that Nina Dobrev's new boyfriend is actually Mark Foster of Foster The People band.
Sources of Celebrity Dirty Laundry, however, say that Nina Dobrev and Chris Wood dating rumors are not true.
The report alleged that Nina Dobrev's posting on her Instagram account several photos of her with co-star Chris Wood is just an act to hide her relationship with Mark Foster.
"It's all just a smokescreen to hide the fact that Nina is dating Mark, and they're not yet ready to go public and face the intensity of the public's scrutiny," the report said regarding Ian Somerhalder's ex-girlfriend.
Meanwhile, another man linked to "The Vampire Diaries" actress is Ben McKenzie, who has denied rumors that they are dating, Just Jared said.

The 36-year-old actor also added, "I really don't like relationships to be played out in public. It creates terrible strain. It creates bizarre dynamics."
