It won't come as a surprise if ever Tremor comes next in the Mortal Kombat X roster; the character has the support of a petition, he's proved worthy in a previous MK installment, and now, Ed Boon himself gave out a loose hint he'll follow the footsteps of Ermac.
One thing reliable about the character reveals is that a new one is unveiled every month. The roster already involves fan-favorites and relative newcomers, but rumors of Tremor as the next in line is gaining credibility, especially with Ed Boon involved.
Ed Boon is usually as mysterious as the East Egg characters in the Mortal Kombat series, but he let out some slack with a reveal, in a tweet response. The earliest hint of Tremor in the Mortal Kombat X roster was in a tweeted fan art submission to the Mortal Kombat Kollective.
The Tremor fan art proposed what the ninja would look like as an original character, like Ermac and Reptile when they evolved into their own. While the only confirmation to the rumor comes in two weeks, it appears Tremors' storyline is already laid out for a comeback.
Loyal to Kano, the latter is confirmed in the Mortal Kombat X roster. Tremor was also imprisoned with Goro's in the lair in Mortal Kombat 9, and now Goro is loose. In terms of fan support, a petition to include Tremor in the Mortal Kombat X roster has also earned enough of a following.
