Selena Gomez Ditches Justin Bieber And Has Christmas Fun With Cara Delevigne: Singer ‘Working On New Music’

Selena Gomez is still in the middle of an on-again-off-again relationship with Justin Bieber.

However, this year, Selena Gomez decided to ditch Justin Bieber and spend her Christmas with model Cara Delevingne.

The “Come & Get It” singer reportedly brought Cara Delevingne home with her this week to Dallas where they were spotted at a mall shopping at Victoria’s Secret, according to San Jose Mercury News. The pair were also seen at Nordstrom where they were seen holding hands, according to TMZ.

Although Selena Gomez had stated that she has “so much respect and love” for her on-again-off-again boyfriend, the 22-year-old is reportedly “trying to put him [Justin] behind her,” according to E! News.

“It’s hard because they have just so much history. It’s a process,” explained the source.

Selena Gomez is reportedly still having trouble from distancing herself from Justin Bieber.

“Justin can throw her [Selena] into a tailspin with just one text,” a source told Us Weekly.

Bieber will reportedly send the former Disney star a random “just thinking about you” text then the conversation will escalate to “give me another chance,” according to the Hollywood Life. An insider reportedly stated that Gomez is trying to keep her mind on more important things, like her career.

“She is working on new music but songs about Justin are not in the plan. Her new album is going to be completely new sound and a new vibe,” stated the source.

Gomez reportedly wants to draw inspiration from Ariana Grande and EDM. However, unlike her BFF Taylor Swift, Gomez will reportedly not be making new music about her ex-boyfriend. The songs reportedly won’t be “about him at all,” according to the source.
