After Christmas Sales are going strong this holiday season, proving to be stronger than discounts and bargains during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. Across the U.S., after Christmas sales are turning out to be a profitable week until New Year's.

Online retailers like Amazon are the biggest players during the week ending New Year's, offering a number of hefty discounts.

According to DealNews, 45% of after Christmas sales are likely to target clothing sales with retailers like The Gap, Express, Banana Republic, Macy's and New York & Co will tend to have the best after Christmas sales.

Another hot category is Electronics. Editors at DealNews say that this year is different from the traditional focus on Black Friday sales. Confirming the sentiment, research shows that TVs and laptops are less expensive during the start of December than during Black Friday. It is essentially a time for stores to offer superior discounts for a third tame during after Christmas sales.
