Jang Dong Gun Was Named This Year’s Style Icon, “Honey, I Got The Grand Award”
The honor of receiving this year's style icon award went to actor Jang Dong Gun.
On the night of the 25th, CJ E&M hosted the 2012 Style Icon Awards (SIA) in Sang Am Dong. On this night Jang Dong Gun won the best award 'Style Icon Of The Year' and became this year's style icon.
'2012 SIA' is an awards show that awards people who set trends and influenced the lifestyle of the public the most. It is also a huge festival because it is also a bazaar, a concert, a film festival, and a project that finds media artists.
From the 24th to the 25th, at the '2012 SIA' held at the CJ E&M Center in Sang Am Dong and nearby plaza, 10 teams were announced as the style icon for teenagers: Psy, Seo In Gook, Jung Eun Ji, Song Joong Ki, Yoo Joon Sang, Jang Dong Gun, Ha Jung Woo, Im Soo Jung, Suzy, Super Junior, and Sistar.
After receiving the 'Style Icon Of The Year' award, Jang Dong Gun said, "With all these outstanding nominees, I wonder if I should be receiving an award like this, but I also happy I got it." He also showed his affection for his wife Go So Young as he spoke to her during his acceptance speech. He made sure to say, "Honey, I got the grand award."
The '2012 SIA' and the red carpet scenes were aired live on 6 different channels: Onstyle, XTM, Storyon, Olive, tvN, and Mnet.
