'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' Earns Spot In 2014 Top Hollywood Scandals; Mama June, Sugar Bear Unmindful Of Drama As They Shop At Wal-Mart
"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" cast member Mama June's alleged cheating with a child molester made it to the top Hollywood scandals of 2014, as the reality tv star seems to remain unfazed with the report when she and Sugar Bear were spotted shopping at Wal-Mart for cartons of sodas.
The Athens Banner Herald compiled a list of scandals that rocked Hollywood this year.
The 2014 Top Hollywood Scandal list included The Fappening, Sony hack scandal, the Bill Cosby rape allegations, the death of Joan Rivers, the sexual abuse involving "7th Heaven" actor Stephen Collins, Solange attacking Jay Z on an elevator, the beating that Ray Rice gave his girlfriend, and Minnesota Vikings' player Adrian Peterson's assaulting his child.
On the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" scandal, the publication noted in its description why the reality show was included in the list:
"The popular reality show featuring the McIntyre, Ga., family was cancelled by TLC after Mama June (June Shannon) allegedly kicked her partner Sugar Bear (Mike Thompson) and began dating her former boyfriend, a registered sex offender who abused one of her daughters. Mama June has denied that she was dating her ex and even went on 'Dr. Phil' to discuss the matter."
Meanwhile, Mama June and Sugar Bear, who were earlier reported to have separated after her alleged cheating with a child molester, have been spotted at Wal-Mart on Tuesday shopping with their daughter.
"Mama June and Sugar Bear have discovered the key to their reconciliation -- a crazy amount of soda," said TMZ, which reported that the estranged couple bought a cartful of Pepsi and Mountain Dew.
"Honey Boo Boo's love of Mountain Dew is rather legendary," it said, adding that "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" cast Mama June and Sugar Bear's relationship have been on the rocks for some time, but we're told they are still living together and are working on their relationship."
