Carrie Underwood news reported how the pregnant "Something In The Water" singer talked about how she plans to raise her family with her NHL player husband, Mike Fisher.

According to a report from Music Times, the former "American Idol" winner admitted that it is hard to balance personal life with her hectic schedule. She shared how it is more difficult to celebrate holidays because of their busy lifestyle.

"Right now, my schedule and my husband's hockey schedule kind of dictate our holidays," the country star said.

Carrie Underwood news narrated how she told her husband about her thoughts on the holidays: "I told him recently, 'You know, I'm really tired of skipping holidays. So from this moment on, I think it's just so important no matter where we are or what we're doing, we have to make it special."

"And, I think that's going to be our tradition," she said. "I hope that my kids later in life are going to be like, 'Mom always tried to make that special even if we were crazy someplace or dad was off playing hockey or something like that. She made it special.'"

The blond diva also shared how they would always be mindful of what really matters despite showering material gifts for their baby. "That's something that has definitely been on both of our minds," Carrie Underwood told the news publication.

She explained: "We are just crazy. Our lives are weird, you know? They're awesome, and we're so blessed, but we're coming and going and all that stuff, so we're definitely going to have to reevaluate everything and just make time, make room and make that a priority."

According to recent Carrie Underwood news from Taste Of Country, the soon to be mom has revealed that she and her Nashville Predators husband have narrowed down their baby name options. "We have a couple that we're OK with," she said.

However, the Grammy winner said that they will only be able to fully decide on the baby name once they see their child. Carrie Underwood revealed: "We might wait until we meet him and then see what he looks like."
