Sony Obama And 'The Interview'. After the recent Sony hack of sensitive emails and the attackers' warning against screening 'The Interview' on Christmas day, President Barrack Obama had said that Sony's decision not to run the film was a bad move. However, Sony changed its mind running the movie in more than 200 independent theaters.

However, when Sony decided to run the film on Christmas, the criticism over Sony Obama and 'The Interview' eased as the President encouraged the release of the comedy at a selected number of theaters. Sony Obama and 'The Interview' criticism from the President criticized Sony for pulling the move after a cyber-attack and threats against movie theaters.

The U.S. also said North Korea was responsible for the cyber-attack while North Korea denies the claim. 'The Inter\view' was shown in 200 independent and art house theaters, and the hackers have made threats of new attacks.

In earlier criticism by Sony Obama 'The Interview', the President said Sony’s decision to cancel the film's launch was a mistake. Eric Shultz, Press. Obama's spokesman, said with reference to the Sony Obama and 'The Interview, the president praised Sony's' shift in policy.

In response to Sony's hack reaction, Mr. Obama said in a statement, "As the president made clear, we are a country that believes in free speech, and the right of artistic expression,"BBC.com reported, adding, "the decision made by Sony and participating theaters allows people to make their own choices.
