It seems that Fallout 4 is going to take a while but if the reports and rumors are to be believed, a Fallout MMO is in the works which could then lead to the much anticipated Fallout 4.

Cyberland has reported that Zenimax is rumored to be working on a Fallout MMO/ Fallout Online game.

This comes in following the reports that 4Chan users have uncovered a document allegedly belonging to Sony and that document contains details about upcoming games and Fallout 4 was included in the document. The document lists Fallout 4 as an "online multiplayer" game.

Is Bethesda using Zenimax to make to online versions of their popular franchises so that they could insert "improved" versions of the online functionality in their games?

Previously, we have reported that GameHype has reported that Elder Scrolls 6: Argonia would have multiplayer elements in the game. They have speculated that the online portion of the game would not tie in with the single player portion of the game.

With the Elder Scrolls franchise having an online game (ESO) and with the Fallout franchise rumored to have an online game (upcoming Fallout MMO/ Fallout Online), it could be speculated that Bethesda is pushing online versions of their franchises so that the online portion of Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 4 would be "perfected" by the time it comes out.

But what do you think? Should the Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 4 have online multiplayer functionality? Sound off in the comments below!
