"Pinocchio" Is The Clear Winner In The Kdramastars Poll

The clear winner in the 2014 Kdramastars poll is "Pinocchio," which won in all three categories. The drama came out ahead early on and stayed in the lead, as did its star Park Shin Hye in the best actress category. For a while it looked as if Jung Yong Hwa, star of "The Three Musketeers" might win the Best Actor category but "Pinocchio" star Lee Jong Suk achieved and held on to first place.

"Pinocchio" won first place with an unbeatable 57.8 percent of the vote, while "You Who Came From The Stars" earned only 11.42 percent. "Night Watchman," starring Jung Il Woo, came in third at 6.33 percent. Fourth place went to "It's Okay It's Love," starring Jo In Sung and Gong Hyo Jin. The psychological drama earned 5.83 percent of the vote. Close behind in fifth place was "Triangle," which starred Lee Bum Soo, JYJ's Kim Jaejoong and ZE:A's Im Si Wan. That drama earned 5.32 percent of the vote.

The other dramas in the top ten were "Doctor Stranger," "Emergency Couple," "The Liar Game," "Empress Ki" and "Fated To Love You."

Lee Jong Suk narrowly took first place in the Best Actor category with 40.94 percent of the vote. Jung Yong Hwa was close behind at 39.12 percent. After that it was Kim Soo Hyun with 6.87 for his role in "You Who Came From The Stars" and Kim Jaejoong at 5.66 percent for his role in "Triangle." Jo In Sung came in fifth with 1.94 percent.

Rounding out the top ten best actors were Choi Jin Hyuk, Jung Il Woo, Jang Hyuk, Lee Jun Ki and Seo In Guk.

The top two contenders for the Best Actress award were not even close. Although Kim So Eun, star of "The Liar Game" and "We Got Married," accomplished the impressive feat of reaching second place over Jun Ji Hyun, she could not compete with Park Shin Hye's score. Park earned 62.26 percent of the vote, winning Best Actress. Jun Ji Hyun was in third place with 6.78 percent of the vote, followed by Song Ji Hyo. Song won 4.7 percent of the vote for her role as the divorcee doctor in "Emergency Couple." Close behind was "It's Okay It's Love" star Gong Hyo Jin, who edged into the top five with 4.17 percent.

Rounding out the top ten category for best actress are Gu Hye Sun, Ha Ji Won, Kang So Ra, Jang Nara and Choi Ji Woo.
