Merry Christmas LeBron James Tribute Amid Loss In Miami.  It was during the first quarter that the Miami Heat club decided to give LeBron James, who recently committed a breach of royal protocol by putting his hands around Kate Middleton in NY, a homecoming Christmas tribute to welcome back their former star. Unfortunately, the Cleveland Cavaliers were no match for Bron even after scoring 30 points against Heat, his former club.

But Lebron James is no sore loser, and he was happy to reunite with former mates in Miami. He was quoted as saying in online reports that he feels it was a good idea for him to play Christmas games. In other words, it was good that the NBA sent him to play on Christmas Day. Most likely, Lebron may not have been expecting the tribute from Miami organizers.

Forbes reported NBA on ABC viewership gained 19% on Christmas Day play when the Cavaliers took on LeBron's previous team, Miami Heat. The reports said that it was a highly anticipated game during the early NBA season. The drama of it all with Lebron James going back to Miami to face the Heat was a must see event and Disney, owner of ESPN and ABC, tactfully steered the game to be set for Christmas Day.

"An average audience of 9,299,000 viewers (P2+) tuned-in to watch the Miami Heat defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in LeBron James' return to Miami. The audience was up 19 percent versus last year. The broadcast delivered a 4.7 U.S. household rating, up 12 percent versus last year," Forbes.com shared.
