Fans might get their hands on the Tom Clancy's The Division beta on March 2015, reports suggested.

The highly anticipated release from Ubisoft has got gamers talking online, and the hype for the game is getting greater by the day. Rumors are suggesting that a beta version will be released, exclusively to Xbox One first, by March. Industry insider Shinobi602 was the first to dish on the said development when he tweeted the announcement weeks back.

And while the game will reportedly come to Xbox One first, shinobi602 mentioned that it won't be long before the game will be launched to other platforms.

"Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to compromise on quality. We are going to release the game when it's ready," the game's Dev Team said in their official blog earlier this year.

Massive Entertainment's ("The Division's" developer) Martin Hulberg, on the other hand, explained that involving gamers in the development process is essential. The exec shared that public tests will be crucial, saying, "We have a long experience in doing online games dating back to Ground Control and World In Conflict. And I think the chance to involve people to do tests is very important. I suspect we will release more details on the possibilities for public tests later on."

Apart fromTom Clancy's The Division beta, fans are also waiting for updates on the game's gameplay. For gamers who are wondering what the gameplay entails, it is said that the game is inspired by real-world events Operation Dark Winter and Directive 51.

As of the moment, New York City -specifically Manhattan and Brooklyn- has been named as the central location of the game.

Other Tom Clancy's The Division updates from Game Spot claim that, "In addition to standard story progression (and new content after you finish), The Division features progression systems for gear, player statistics, and your base of operation, which can be continually upgraded, Cortes said. Ubisoft will also support The Division with new content following its release, adding more hours to the main experience."
