A day after Christmas, Sony's Playstation network services were disrupted possibly due to an alleged hack by the anonymous group Lizard Status. The group has been associated with previous PS4 hack attacks. Customers who bought or gifted a Sony Playstation video console want to know, 'Is PS4 Still Down Today?'

After a second attack on Sony's Playstation Network, the platform had rebounded from a Post-Christmas hack, but available services were lost again, making gamers even more furious. Sony's PSN network was not the only one to be packed; Xbox One services were affected. However, Microsoft was able to turn the tide around quickly and get their console up and running.

Parents have been complaining about the cost of a Playstation device that they were not able to use during the Christmas season, and kids have been saying, 'This the worst Christmas ever.'

"A gang of internet hackers claiming an affiliation with shadowy anarchist group Anonymous has claimed it has leaked the details of more than 13,000 credit card numbers which it stole from various companies including Amazon,' The Daily Mail reported, adding, 'the hackers posted a document online, which has since been removed, of 13,000 username and password combinations. They also added credit card numbers as well as expiry dates."

The group affiliated with Anonymous tweeted that more security information of companies would be breached. A notorious hacking group called Lizard Squad took responsibility for the hacks; say it was for fun and to show how poor online security was.
