Beetlejuice 2 Release Date To Be On July 2016 Rumored; Tim Burton Admits The Movie Is In Early Stages Of Development As Script Writing Continues!

It looks like the Beetlejuice 2 release date is going to be on July 2016 if the reports and rumors are to be believed.

There is a rumor going around that the Beetlejuice 2 release date is going to be on July 2016. This rumor seems to stem from the various details that have sprung up about the film recently.

Tim Burton had an interview with Coming Soon and he revealed that the progress with Beetlejuice 2 is starting to quicken and that he's very excited about reuniting with Michael Keaton on a project.

When asked for an update Beetlejuice 2 and his relationship with Michael Keaton, Burton said:

"It's a character that I love and I miss and I miss actually working with Michael. There's only one Betelgeuse. We're working on a script and I think it's probably closer than ever and I'd love to work with him again."

Previously, Michael Keaton appeared on The Today Show where he revealed that he was open to Beetlejuice 2 as long as Tim Burton is involved:

"I've been talking about it for years and saying it's the one thing - if I ever did anything again, it would be that, or I'd want to do that...The rumors would - they've risen before and fallen away - and now if Tim [Burton] is involved, and I think he might be involved, if Tim would be involved, I would be more than interested...I mean, (Burton)'s so original. And...he's an artist. It's unique. There's nothing like it. You really can't compare it to anything. So it has to be done right, I guess."

With the "OK" signal for Tim Burton to work with Michael Keaton has fired up, the chance for Beetlejuice 2 has now risen.

But with the rumor that Beetlejuice 2 release date being on July 2016, picking up more steam as time moves along, it could persuade the execs to push Beetlejuice 2 for 2016.
