Latest Lindsay Lohan news reveal that the "Mean Girls" actress' stepmother welcomed a son with Michael Lohan.

According to the report from Us Weekly, Lindsay Lohan's controversial father welcomed a baby boy with his new wife, Kate Major, just a few minutes before New Year's Eve.

The movie star's 32-year-old stepmom is only four years older than her, making some wonder if the two actually get along.

Nonetheless, Michael Lohan has been vocal about how happy he is with his second family.

"Kate and I are ecstatic," said Lindsay Lohan's father. "A bit late for Christmas but the best gift imaginable."

"What a way to bring in the new year! God has blessed me with the best children a father could ever ask for -- but I'm done!"

Lindsay Lohan's father and stepmother already have a son, Landon, who is turning two years old this January. The couple wed last October at an intimate ceremony in Florida.

"It was a beautiful, small ceremony and reception afterward," an insider told Us Weekly.

"Kate and Michael purposely wanted it private as they await the arrival of their second child together," the source added.

"Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan and her mother, Dina Lohan, have yet to comment about the newest addition to their extended family.

Aside from her stepsiblings with Kate Major, Lindsay Lohan has a sister, Ali (21), and brothers Michael Jr (27) and Cody (18).

The "Mean Girls" actress is currently based in London, where she starred in a West End play entitled "Speed The Plow". In a recent report from The Guardian, Lindsay Lohan clarified the news about how she is feeling so homesick and yearning to return to the US.

"I won't live in L.A. again, hell no," the former child star clarified.

"You turn on the news in L.A. and it is all gossip about people," she said. "All the stuff that is going on in the world right now and this gossip is the news?"

"I needed to grow up, and London is a better place for me to do that than anywhere else," the once troubled "Mean Girls" actress Lindsay Lohan added about the news.
