Joan Rivers news reported that the anesthesiologist who was involved in the late "Fashion Police" host's botched operation has been identified. According to Joan Rivers news from Page Six, the said doctor even avoided reporters when she was almost cornered about the comedienne's death.

The anesthesiologist, named Renuka Reddy Bankulla, reportedly could have prevented Joan Rivers' untimely death last September 4. The incident happened after TV icon came from a regular throat procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy, an outpatient clinic at the Upper East Side of New York.

The 47-year-old medical practicioner was reportedly the third doctor responsible for the failed operation. The other doctors who are part of the controversy include Yorkville Endoscopy medical director Lawrence Cohen and celebrity ear, nose and throat specialist Gwen Korovin.

LA-based anesthesiologist Dr. Karen Sibert told Page Six how Renuka Reddy Bankulla's role during Joan Rivers' fatal operation was very critical. As the anesthesiologist, she was supposed to "vigilantly watch the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and other vital signs."

The doctor added that Renuka Reddy Bankulla should have "intervened promptly" upon learning that the comedienne was in trouble. The botched operation caused Joan Rivers to go into a coma, then eventually died a week later.

In order to avoid Joan Rivers news, Renuka Reddy Bankulla allegedly "jumped at her car and left" her home in Scarsdale upon seeing the reporters.

"Neither Dr. Bankulla nor I have any comment on this subject," her lawyer Bruce Brady said.

A federal report revealed that Renuka Reddy Bankulla had said "she was advised by counsel not to discuss the case at this time."

Joan Rivers' daughter, Melissa Rivers, has not yet commented about the third doctor involved in her mother's fatal operation.

Yorkville Endoscopy is currently gearing for a multi-million dollar lawsuit from the comedienne's only child.

According to earlier Joan Rivers news reported by Entertainment Tonight, the 46-year-old is "outraged by the misconduct and mismanagement now shown to have occurred before, during and after the procedure."
