Lady Gaga News: 'Poker Face' Singer Feuding With Blogger And New 'Celebrity Big Brother' Contestant Perez Hilton
Lady Gaga news revealed that the "Poker Face" singer is feuding with blogger and new "Celebrity Big Brother" contestant Perez Hilton.
A report from Reveal recalled how the two used to be very good friends, but their friendship ended after the pop star accused the outspoken writer of asking her improper questions during a sit-down interview in Australia.
The international singer was supposedly drunk during the tell-all, and even cried after the blogger slammed her album "Born This Way".
"He was supposed to be my friend and I felt betrayed, so I started crying," Lady Gaga narrated.
"My friend had to come in and pull the camera out, they wouldn't turn the cameras off."
Lady Gaga news also reported how she accused Perez Hilton of stalking her after their friendship ended. The writer allegedly even tried to purchase a New York City apartment near where the singer lived.
Lady Gaga made news in August 2013 when she blasted her former friend on Twitter.
"Stay away from me (and) my family," Lady Gaga tweeted in reference to Perez Hilton.
"You are sick trying to rent an apartment in my building to stalk me... Leave me alone!"
Fans of Lady Gaga - whom she fondly calls her "little monsters" - were quick to defend their idol. Reveal reported that some fans allegedly even sent death threats to the celebrity blogger, which pushed him to issue an official statement.
"While it is still too painful for me to go into detail about why I chose to no longer make her a part of my life, I will say that I am a critic and not a stalker," Perez Hilton explained.
"Any allegation that I am stalking her is utterly false, defamatory and now appear to be putting me in danger."
The newest addition to "Celebrity Big Brother" expressed that Lady Gaga has been changed by stardom.
"I think it was fame that just poisoned her," Perez Hilton said.
"You know, fame can be a very deadly drug and it has damaged her personally," he added.
Perez Hilton also accused Lady Gaga of being a user.
"She globs onto people, uses them and once they're no longer of use to her, will just throw them aside. That is what I've observed," he said.
