How would the new mini series American Crime Story change the people's point of view about the O.J. Simpson trial?

It has been confirmed that American Crime Story: People v O.J Simpson will star John Travolta as defense lawyer Robert Shapiro, as well as being one of the producers in the show. It will consist of ten episodes about the trial of the popular NFL star O.J. Simpson, who was accused of killing waiter Ronald Goldman and ex-wife Nicole Brown, but was acquitted by the jury.

The trial lasted for a year and was greatly publicized. During the trial, the NFL star attempted to escape in his white vehicle going to Southern California. He was chased by the police and turned himself over at his Brentwood home. The show will tell the story by the perspectives of the lawyers and will be according to the book "The Run of His Life: The People v O.J. Simpson," written by Jeffrey Toobin.

Based on the statement of FX, the miniseries will present the chaotic maneuvering on both sides of the court, behind the scenes dealings and how a mix of prosecution overconfidence, LAPD's history with the city's African- American community and defense shrewdness gave the jury what it required: reasonable doubts.

"This is an exciting project for me, as I've been looking for the right property which could serve as an extension of the American Horror Story brand I love so much," Ryan  Murphy said during an interview with ABC News. "The O.J. case was as tragic as it was fascinating - it seemed like everyone had a stake in the outcome. It was really the beginning of the modern tabloid age."

The persuasive story that will debut this year is written by 'American Crime Story' executive producers Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander. On a side line, the mini series will be directed by Ryan Murphy.
