Is Maksim Chernovskiy Reunited With Meryl Davis? 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 18 Champ Speaks Up

After rumors suggesting Maksim Chernovskiy and Meryl Davis are dating, the former "Dancing with the Stars" season 18 champ, swung back at the media saying, "I don't think we will."

After Maksim and Meryl's huge win, the media started to suggest that there might be something more between the two given their awesome chemistry.

However, some reports say the 'showmance' the couple displays off and on the dance floor is fake, and is an element of the show to increase interest in the audience. The same allegation has been made about Maksim's brother, Val, and his DWTS partner Jannel Parrish. Val has vehemently denied using emotional appeal to score points.

"We aren't dating. And I don' think we will. She is very special," Maksim told People Magazine in an interview.

"I care very deeply for Meryl. Our friendship is where it will be for many years. She is awesome to spend time with."

According to Breathecast, the two collaborated for dance performances in December. The first show was held on December 16 entitled "Shall We Dance on Ice," and later on December 17 at "Sway: A Dance Trilogy" in Westbury, New York.

Maksim has dated a number of his DWTS dancing partners namely Kate Upton, Jennifer Lopez and Kirsti Alley.
