Chris Brown Dating Karrueche Tran: ‘Loyal’ Singer Wants To Marry Longtime Girlfriend Before Going To Jail?

After dating Karrueche Tran for five years, and a source said "Loyal" singer Chris Brown now wants to marry his longtime girlfriend before he goes to jail.

The R&B hitmaker will have a formal hearing on March following cases involving the assault of former flame Rihanna and after being involved in two recent nightclub shootings.

TMZ reported that the 25-year-old singer could stay in jail for four years.

A report from Hollywood Life said that Chris Brown is so serious about dating Karrueche Tran that he hopes to keep her secure just in case he goes to prison.

"(Chris Brown) is scared and he's contemplating marrying Karrueche now before his situation gets worse," an insider revealed.

"If Chris has to go to prison for a while, he wants Karrueche to be taken care of and in charge of his entire estate. He doesn't trust many people and his mother isn't really in a position to be in charge of all his stuff."

"He loves Karrueche, trusts her and wants her to be in control, should he have to go to prison," the source explained about Chris Brown dating Karrueche Tran.

"In order for that to happen, he'd have to marry her," the insider added.

The troubled singer is said to be very worried about his situation, and hopes to make sure that his girlfriend of five years will be ok while he is gone.

"Chris is thinking ahead because he doesn't know what will happen in March. He could go to prison or he could be free," the source told Hollywood Life.

"But what he does know is that he wants his girl to have full and complete access and power over all of his affairs and to make sure that legally happens."

"She'd have to be his wife and he's cool with that," the insider pointed out.
