Joan Rivers news reveal that Donald Trump honored the former "Celebrity Apprentice" winner in a taped episode that featured the late comedienne as a judge.

According to Joan Rivers news from Daily Mail, the TV icon was back on U.S. screens as the business-oriented show aired an episode that was taped a month before she died on Sept. 4 last year.

The notoriously frank guest judge helped Donald Trump and his daughter, Ivanka Trump, in choosing the winner among the remaining "Celebrity Apprentice" contestants. Just like Joan Rivers, who won the said show several seasons ago, the contenders underwent business-themed challenges to vie for the $250,000 charity prize.

Business mogul Donald Trump introduced Joan Rivers as "legendary," and announced to the applauding contestants that she would be a "guest adviser" for the said episode.

Joan Rivers was seen in the episode monitoring the "Celebrity Apprentice" teams of actress Vivica Fox and Kenya Moore. For the episode, she wore on an animal-print jacket and chatted up her usual crazy humor with the contestants.

During the board room deliberation, Donald Trump took time to praise Joan Rivers before proceeding to judging the contenders.

"It is so amazing to have Joan Rivers with us. She was such a great champion and remains a great champion," he said.

It was late August last year when Joan Rivers had a regular throat procedure at Yorkville Endoscopy, an outpatient clinic at the Upper East Side of New York. Complications arose after alleged medical malpractice, which led to a week-long coma. Joan Rivers died a week later at the age of 81.

Prior to the "Celebrity Apprentice" episode, recent Joan Rivers news announced the identity of the anesthesiologist involved in her fatal operation. The revelation came four months after the comedienne's death.

According to Page Six, Yorkville Endoscopy anesthesiologist Renuka Reddy Bankulla was identified as the third doctor responsible for the failed operation. She was with Yorkville Endoscopy medical director Lawrence Cohen and celebrity ear, nose and throat specialist Gwen Korovin.

Joan Rivers' 46-year-old daughter, Melissa Rivers, has not yet commented about the revelation of the identity of the anesthesiologist. But the comedienne's only child and heir to her hefty estate is reportedly working on a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Yorkville Endoscopy.
