Choi Kang Hee Helps Another Co-Star Cope With A Kissing Scene

When it came to shooting kissing scenes for the tvN drama "Heart to Heart," Chun Jung Myung was nervous and Choi Kang Hee was not.

"Chun Jung Myung told me that it was the first time for him to shoot a kiss scene like that," said Choi Kang Hee. "So, I personally felt sorry for him because I've done many kiss scenes before in different dramas."

The 37-year-old actress has kissed a few attractive actors, including most recently Joo Won in "Level 7 Civil Servant" and Ji Sung in "Protect The Boss."

Because of her previous onscreen romantic experience Choi Kang Hee was not nervous when it came to filming romantic scenes for "Heart to Heart."

"I was fine," she said and prepared for it calmly, but he said he was so shy," she said. "The actual situation was completely the opposite of the scene in the drama."

In the drama she plays Cha Hong Do, a woman who is so socially awkward that she blushes furiously in any situation that makes her uneasy. He plays Go I Suk, the psychiatrist helping her to overcome her problem."

"I wanted to concentrate during filming, but I felt so awkward," said Chun Jung Myung, 34. "If we had the chance to share emotions as a couple beforehand, it could have happened more naturally for me. But I had to kiss her all of sudden, which made everything awkward."

It's not the first time that Choi had to help a co-star overcome his nerves at the prospect of a kissing scene. She gave Joo Won some romantic pointers too. They had quite a few kiss scenes in "Level 7 Civil Servant."

At a press conference for that drama, Joo Won mentioned some of his on-set kissing concerns.

"I was worried and confused; I couldn't help it," he said. "I didn't know if I should just put my lips on hers and stay that way or move a little bit. As I was moving my lips, I was wondering if this is respectful to her or not. I even asked her, 'Should I just stay put and not move?' and she told me to do whatever I want to do."

Joo Won  praised her as the best romantic partner to work with.

"I learned so much working with her," he said.
