Shakira is using her baby bump for a good cause, as "The Voice" coach and boyfriend Gerard Pique's collaboration with UNICEF continues for poor children worldwide.

The World Baby Shower campaign by Shakira and UNICEF aims to provide babies a healthy start in life.

"As part of our new baby celebration, we can give vulnerable babies a brighter beginning. This is more than a shower, it's a global movement to save lives," the UNICEF website said.

Those who are willing to participate are asked to select from the "Inspired Gift" registry to "send real life saving items delivered to vulnerable children around the world."

For instance, a polio vaccine will cost $10.92, measles vaccine will cost $12 and a midwifery kit will cost $1,955.39. If the kit sounds expensive, participants can choose to gift soccer balls ($13) or books ($19.50) instead.

During the 2013 campaign Shakira also leveraged her baby bump, for her first son Milan, to encourage people to donate in the World Baby Shower.

"With the explosion of social media, celebrities aren't the only ones who have platforms that can reach mass audiences, and we want this movement to keep going long after our baby shower has ended, so we want to invite them to host their own baby showers with UNICEF as well," she said.

In the first campaign, UNICEF raised money to distribute polio vaccines to "80,000 children, four tons of food for malnourished children, and about 1,000 anti-malaria bed nets," said Today.

With her second child, Shakira hopes that her baby bump will again be used to raise even more money for the UNICEF campaign.

"Now that we are soon welcoming our second child we want to help other children around the world and also contribute to a long-lasting solution for getting children living in extreme poverty the supplies they need to survive," she said per Hello Magazine.
