PS4 Jailbreak Mod Chip To Be Sold Soon; New Method To Play Pirated Games And Get Free PS Plus Now Possible For The PS4

The PS4 jailbreak mod chip is going to be sold soon and players would then be allowed to play pirated games on the PS4.

Renowned hacker group, the Lizard Squad has reportedly found a way to play pirated games on the PS4 and they would sell their PS4 jailbreak mod chip for everyone to try.

In a previous report, the Lizard Squad hacker group was able to find a security flaw in the latest 2.03 firmware of the PS4 which allowed them to look into the root files of PS4's OS and modify it to run their own code. That new code would allow them to run isos of Playstation 4 games.

Cyberland has reported that the Lizard Squard used a prototype PS4 jailbreak mod chip to find the security flaw in the PS4.

The report by Cyberland also mentions that a member of the Lizard Squad has posted on the /v/ board on 4Chan that the chip they used to find the security flaw in the PS4 would be available for everyone to try this 2015 but they would have to buy it. The member also said that the chip that allegedly allows the user to play pirated games and to go online without the need for PS Plus.

It is not sure if the a future firmware patch for the PS4 would break this hack but it has been speculated that just like the PS3 jailbreak hack, updating the firmware would break the hack that would allow you to play pirated games.
