Casey Kasem's death and burial are still being questioned by his first family, who has demanded LAPD to detain the late radio star's widow, Jean Kasem.

According to a report from The Hollywood Reporter, the "American Top 40" host's adult children from his first marriage with Linda Kasem and other supporters spoke to press at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in Los Angeles last week. Led by daughter and media personality Kerri Kasem, the group pleaded for the Los Angeles Police Department to arrest his 60-year-old second wife, who they allege is responsible for Casey Kasem's death.

The report recalled how Casey Kasem's wife of 30 years took away the radio star while he sick with dementia and Parkinsons disease at a Santa Monica hospital on May 7. Jean Kasem then reportedly went to Seattle with her then seriously ill husband, where the radio personlity eventually passed away on June 15.

Aside from allegedly being responsible for Casey Kasem's death. the controversial widow was also slammed for transporting the broadcaster's corpse from Seattle, Montreal, and eventually to Oslo.

It was in the Norwegian state where Casey Kasem's dead body was reportedly hidden away from his family and supporters for months. Jean Kasem decided to finally bury him during the Christmas season, without advising Casey Kasem's family and friends.

"If this isn't a case of elder abuse, I don't know what is," said Kerri Kasem's lawyer, Martha Patterson.

"It's equivalent to taking a baby out of an incubator."

Private investigator Logan Clarke also detailed how Casey Kasem was not taken care of by his second wife.

"(Jean Kasem) took Casey on a five-day odyssey: They ran out of food, bought a six-pack of Ensure at a drugstore, poured it into the feeding machine, and jammed it," he narrated.

"-- And they're saying this woman didn't kill him? The nurse in the car took pictures of his colostomy bag full of blood. The cops have all the evidence."

"Belle Chen at the DA office told me she'd love to have a crack at this case. LAPD should be ashamed," the private investigator expressed.
