"Mean Girls" star Lindsay Lohan could be facing jail time for failure to complete her court-ordered community service in London.

According to a report from In Touch Weekly, the 28-year-old movie star could be sentenced to a minimum of 30 days in jail for being unable to finish the number of hours required by her community service court requirement. The order is in line with her reckless driving incident in 2012, wherein she got into a car crash with an 18-wheeler truck while driving at Los Angeles' Pacific Coast Highway.

The said news about Lindsay Lohan revealed she will have a probation hearing this week regarding the issue. Los Angles Deputy City Attorney Terry White will reportedly be asking Judge Richard Stone to terminate the actress' probation.

As a result, the troubled "Mean Girls" celebrity could be sent to jail because of not being transparent about completing the required number of community service hours."

Lindsay Lohan news report from In Touch Weekly recalled how she was given the permission to finish her community service while in London. The "Mean Girls" actress has been based in Europe due to her role in a David Mamet West End production entitled "Speed the Plow".

She partnered with Community Service Volunteers (CVS), a London-based charitable organization that helps disabled and disadvantaged individuals.

However, Daily Mail earlier eported that Lindsay Lohan has been struggling to finish community service. She was also absent from serving at CVS for more than two weeks.

"These were very, very basic inquiries, such as how was Lindsay monitored, who supervised her work - it does seem odd that none of that information has been sent, especially since there is a court date scheduled for Feb. 18," an insider told Radar Online.

Aside from being sentenced to 30-days of community service, the former Disney talent was required to attend a rehabilitation facility for 90 days following long-running substance abuse issues. She also underwent 180 days of psychiatric counselling.
