Nicki Minaj's Road Crew Gets In Deadly Altercation; Members In Philly For 'Anaconda' Singer's Tour

A member of Nicki Minaj's road crew was stabbed to death in an altercation in Philadelphia on Tuesday night, while they were rehearsing for her "Anaconda" tour with rumored boyfriend Meek Mill.

Report from TMZ said one other member of her crew survived the violent attack in Che Bar & Grill.

"The person who died was De'Von Pickett ... a stage hand for Nicki. Eric Parker survived the incident, but is in critical condition in a hospital," the article said.

Nicki Minaj posted on Instagram a photo of her two crew members along with the caption: "#Rp @myfabolouslife - these guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night. #RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable. Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad."

One commenter posted a long reply: "Im sorry for u lost I know what ur going thro boyfriend a lost of a crew member it's all over the news I'm really sorry I was u better and the best I hope the can found out who that lil person took a way the life of u friend. I'm really sorry this happened last night on dish nation u where talking thro the phone u seemed happy I was the devil whatching for that good thing to happen then boom here it is u must been throo a lot in ur life."

NBC Philly reported that the argument between two of Nicki Minaj's road crew and the suspect inside the bar spilled over outside.

"We believe that both of the victims, as well as the perpetrator, were all inside of this bar and that's when an argument started," said Chief Inspector Scott Small told the website.

In the middle of their argument, the perpetrator pulled out a knife and started stabbing members of Nicki Minaj's road crew.

"Pickett suffered stab wounds in the torso while Reed suffered stab wounds to his left arm and left side," the police officer said.
