Dwayne Johnson shared about his heartbreak for Paul Walker's daughter and talked about paying tribute to the actor's life with "The Fast and the Furious 7."

When Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson first learned about the news of his "Fast and Furious" co-star's death, he was on his way home. The news devastated the WWE superstar so much that he had to pull over from the highway and take a few minutes to weep.

Now the seventh installment to the unfinished movie franchise is all set to be released Apr 3, 2015 and The Rock shared a message about filming without Paul Walker.

According to a report by Classicalite, the 42-year-old actor shared that he "is particularly sad for his friend's daughter, 16-year-old Meadow, because he knew how much Paul loved her."

Dwayne Johnson is father to 13-year-old girl Simone with ex-wife Dany Garcia.

''My heart broke for his family and it continues to break for his daughter," he said. "Paul and I talked all the time about how cool it is to be daddies to little girls. Our girls aren't so little but they'll always be little to us.''

Walker was 40 years old when the fatal car crash happened on his way home from a charity event.

Filming stopped on "The Fast and the Furious 7" following Paul Walker's death and Dwayne Johnson thinks it was difficult to know what was the ''appropriate'' thing to do, but he hopes the finished movie serves as a fitting tribute.

"It was one of the most difficult things we had all gone through. It affected the movie in that it completely shut it down, which was the right and appropriate thing to do," he said.

"You're left with, 'What do we do next? What's the most appropriate step? What's the most respectful step?' We did what I feel was the best thing," he continued. "Which was create a little bit of space, make a little bit of time and regroup, pull our wagons back and then move forward with how we're going to make the best movie possible, with the intention of respecting Paul and his legacy.''

Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel headline "The Fast and the Furious 7," which is set to hit theaters on Apr 3, 2015.
