‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ Plot Rumors Revealed; ‘Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Said To Bring Back Some Of The Much Loved Characters From The Disney Franchise

The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" plot rumors revealed that filming for the movie has now officially started in Australia. The synopsis claims that the movie will not be another Jack Sparrow solo outing but will instead bring back some of the franchise's much loved characters.

Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role as Captain Jack Sparrow. According to a report by Alligator, he will be facing all sorts of trouble when his old rival, Captain Salazar, escapes from the Devil's Triangle and leads a fleet of deadly ghost pirates to kill all pirates at sea---including Sparrow.

The only way Captain Jack can make it out alive is to locate the mythical Trident of Poseidon in order to gain control of the seas.

Returning to the cast of the pirate venture are Kevin R. McNally playing Gibbs, Stephen Graham as Scrum and Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa. Newcomers are Kara Scodelario of "Maze Runner" in a role still unknown and Brendan Thwaites as a young soldier who hopes to reconnect with Davy Jones, his father.

Keira Knightley won't be returning to the franchise nor has Orlando Bloom confirmed if he will be reprising his role as Will Turner. But the film is slated for a 2017 release and anything can still happen between now and then.

Also, the very thought of their "son" being involved in the tale brings the Pirate film back to where it all began. The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" plot rumors suggest that the film will be somewhat of a reboot of the original trilogy.

If fans can recall, Davy Jones can only set foot on land every ten years because of a curse. "At World's End" was released back in 2007 while "Dead Man Tell No Tales" will be released after exactly 10 years, in 2017. This makes the plotline of the Turner family plausible.

More photos and information will be released as filming progresses. The Pirate franchise is one of the biggest hits that Disney has ever made. The first film smashed box records in 2003 with the rest following suit.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" plot rumors has also named the directors, Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning. It is set to hit theatres on July 7, 2017.
