The Xbox One SDK has been leaked online and hackers claim that the leak has spawned an alleged hack that can allow you to play pirated games on the Xbox One.

hacker on 4Chan said that a recent update to the Xbox One allowed him to run his code that he derived from the Xbox One SDK as he notes that his code allows him to run ISO's of his games on the Xbox One, effectively making his alleged hack the alleged first Xbox One JTAG.

"I have successfully devised a method as to how to run isos on the Xbox One," wrote the hacker.

The hacker then continued," You remember the Xbox One SDK that leaked right? Well the latest patch on the Xbox One has a security exploit in which it checks for an online connection when you install a game. If no connection is found, my code would then 'emulate' an internet connection and then I can run isos on the Xbox One."

Previously, Se7enSins has posted that a group called notHALT has informed them that the Xbox One Source Development Kit or SDK is now in their hands and that a lot of things are now possible when it comes to modifying the Xbox One.

"For those of you who have been scouring the internet lately for something regarding modifying your Xbox One console, scour no more," wrote Se7enSins.

Se7enSins continued, "Earlier today a team that goes by the name notHALT contacted us, giving Se7enSins the heads up on what they had in store. At first I was skeptical whether or not the claims made were legitimate, but we've come to see that they are. They later notified us that they had uploaded the Xbox One SDK (Software Development Kit) for everyone to have (SDK Documentation as made available later during the day)."

Se7enSins then quoted notHALT when they commented about the Xbox One SDK and how it could lead to homebrew for the Xbox One.

"The Xbox One is practically a stripped Windows 8 device and has introduced a new package format that hasn't had much attention," said notHALT.

They continued, "This format is responsible for updating the console and storing applications (Games are under the category of 'Applications' on the Xbox One) and is a modification of Virtual Hard Disks. There is no definite 'exploit' but from what we have studied and tested, this simple packaging format could possibly lead us to creating Homebrew applications for the Xbox One."
