'Inception 2' Rumors: Sequel In The Works? Facebook Page Of Christopher Nolan Movie Came Back To Life After 2-Year Hiatus

It has been almost five years since "Inception" hit theatres in 2010, yet fans of the movie are still calling for a sequel. This 2015, fans might just get lucky as it has been rumored that "Inception 2" is in the works.

As previously reported by 2Day FM, "Inception's" Facebook page jumped back to life last March 26. The cryptic post said, "You musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling."

Naturally, several fans were quick to speculate that "Inception 2" is in the works.

"Is something in the works, by any chance? This Facebook page hasn't made a post since December 2013, and all of a sudden we get this update? Seems fishy," posted Cole Teasley.

Some fans, however, remained skeptical of the probability of a sequel for the Leonardo Dicaprio starrer. 

Back in 2012, Comic Book Movie reported that Warner Bros was "desperate" for Christopher Nolan to direct "Inception 2" after "The Dark Night Rises." Rumor has it, the movie will be kind of a reboot, as none of the characters from the first movie will return.

Meanwhile Slash Film offered five theories on the possible plot of the "Inception" sequel"

1)    The Obvious Sequel: Cobb's (Leonardo DiCaprio) story continues and he tries to get out of the dream world.

2)    The Spin-off/Prequel: Story will focus on Eames' (Tom Hardy) charater and his earlier interactions with Cobb.

3)    The Twist: Story will follow Ariadne (Ellen Page) where it was revealed that she's the "master." The next storyline will focus on her path and on another mission.

4)    The Obvious Prequel: Cobb finds out about the dream worlds and  extraction.

5)    The Family Drama: Totem falls and Cobb returns to reality. Story focuses on Cobb's family.

Warner Bros. and Christopher Nolan have yet to comment on the probability of "Inception" sequel.
