Freddie Roach has reportedly disclosed that Manny Pacquiao intends to knock Floyd Mayweather out on May 2.

"I think Manny will win by knockout," said Roach in an article by GMA News. "I don't have a round, but the thing is, we have to break him down first, and I think in the later rounds, I believe Manny will knock him out,"

Furthermore, as both camps have signed for a one-time deal only, the Hall of Fame trainer reportedly said that the fight will be too exciting that people will inevitably ask for a rematch.

"There's no rematch clause, but this fight's so big that I think if it goes like I think it will and they both start early and they both go for the knockout early because Floyd's legs are nearly gone," said Roach.

"I know he's gonna start quick and we're gonna start quick also. I think the fans will demand a rematch," he added.

Moreover, in another interview with GMA News, the 37-year-old Filipino fighter said that he wanted to teach Floyd Mayweather a lesson.

"I want to teach him a lesson, to be a good person, to be an example for everybody," said Pacquiao. "To let him know that there is God and we should humble ourselves before God."

Meanwhile, the WBC/WBA welterweight and junior middleweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. said that he is not worried about the work rate of his opponent, according to BoxingScene.

"I think my focus is always being in control and dictating the place. You've got guys who throw a lot of punches - you know, a majority of the time, I think that everyone game-plans to throw a lot of punches," said Mayweather.

Trainer and father Floyd Mayweather Sr reportedly advised his son to use the uppercut. He added that Pacquiao has a small physique and it will provide them an opportunity to be able to use this move.
