“Sims 4: Get to Work” has been out for almost a week now and most have already tried the new careers. If your Sims are in the retail business, there are things that they should try.

In a feature on The Sims, SimGuruGraham shared things that players should try when making their own retail shop.

In "Sims 4 Get to Work," the retail owner can hire a highly skilled employee and demote it to the bottom pay level. The player can also create a special uniform for the employee of the month or dress up an employee with a low performance with a clown outfit. The player can also reportedly make the retail business his main job and work until the Sim is tired. The player can also make the store supplemental to his main career.

Furthermore, as everything can be sold in the retail store, players can decorate their shop any way they want. They can run a bakery, photo studio or, if they want to be creative, a seafood market by catching fish and selling them from the cold display cases. Aside from that, they can have a wedding shop, selling wedding cakes, gowns, flowers, arches and furniture.

Also, players can reportedly manipulate the emotions of their employees and customers. A Sim with a good mood is easier to talk to while employees that are inspired are better at chatting. If a player puts items around the store to manipulate these emotions, it will be easier for the customer to have a good social interaction, making him to buy the product easily.

To be successful in retail business,  the website says that one way to do so is through advertising. The player can buy an advertising campaign on the web to create a rush of customers to his store and hire extra employees to deal the extra clients.
