'Pitch Perfect' 2 Spoilers, Director Elizabeth Banks Hinted At More Fat Amy Moments In The Sequel

The “Pitch Perfect 2” director has hinted at more Fat Amy moments when the Barden Bellas return.

According to International Business Times, at the opening night event of CinemaCon 2015 in Last Vegas, the director of "Pitch Perfect 2" Elizabeth Banks introduced the motion picture debut of "Pitch Perfect 2" ahead of a screening of the film.

"I'm so excited to be here" and added that she was "thrilled by the support of Universal," said the 41-year-old "Hunger Games" star.

The actress, producer and new director hinted that Australian actress Rebel Wilson, popularly known as Fat Amy on the movie, will have the same character she had on the first "Pitch Perfect.

"Fat Amy is still Fat Amy," she noted.

Moreover, in a report by Yahoo Movies, Banks last year shared a few "Pitch Perfect 2" spoilers.

"The girls are now graduating seniors, they are coming to the end of their times as Bellas and figuring out how to sort of leave the next and the comfort of each other's friendship and figure out what they're going to do with the rest of their lives."

She added that they hired "real-life acapella groups" on the upcoming film, including Filharmonic, Penn Masala, Pentatonix and more.

"I confirm are all in the movie and they're amazing. They do all their own singing and dancing. It's all about authenticity in the acapella world. We really want to honor that and honor the people who are really doing it out there who were inspired by when we make the movie," Banks added.

Meanwhile, there is a new trailer showing Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and the other cats who will be back to reprise their roles and to compete for an international acapella competition.
