LG G4 Detailed Specs And Features, Device Coming to Bell, Telus, Rogers, Wind Mobile And Videotron 'Beginning This June'
The South Korean giant tech LG Electronics has officially unveiled on Tuesday its latest flagship -- the G4.
The model was unveiled on April 29 in London, Paris, New York, Singapore, Seoul, and Istanbul, according to BGR.
"We are living up to our promise of Innovation for a Better life with a fashionable, premium smartphone that is more focused on delivering a balanced user experience that can compete with the best of the best," said Juno Cho, president and CEO of the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
"We wanted to give consumers a truly human-centric device that combined the analog sensibilities with technologies that delivered real world performance. From the design of the camera to the display to the UX, this is the most ambitious phone we've ever created."
The LG G4 has 5.5-inch Quad HD IPS Quantum display, which offers 2- percent greater color reproduction, 50 percent greater contrast and 25 percent improvement in brightness. It has a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and 538 ppi.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with X10 LTE. Also, the device has a 32GB eMMC ROM, 3GB LPDDR3 RAM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
In terms of camera, the LG G4 has 16MP on the rear with an F1.8 aperture lens that allows 80 percent more light to reach the sensor. It has also a Manual Mode, which allows the user to control the exposure compensation, ISO, focus, shutter speed and white balance of the photo. As for the front, the device has 8MP with a Gesture Interval Shot that improves the Gesture Shot feature through taking four shots spaced two seconds.
The device has a 3,000mAh battery and is available in different colors -- Metallic, Gray, Ceramic White, Shiny Gold, Black, Red, Brown, Beige, Yellow and Sky Blue.
According to Android Headlines, the LG G4 will be coming to Bell, Rogers, TELUS, Wind Mobile and Videotron "beginning this June". The exact date and price have not yet been confirmed.
