Sony Announces Xperia C4 And Xperia C4 Dual; Detailed Specs, Features And Price; When Will It Be Available?
Sony has announced its latest smartphones, the Xperia C4 and Xperia C4 Dual, and the company named them "PROselfie smartphones."
"Following the success of Xperia C3, we are proud to introduce Sony's evolved PROselfie smartphone," said Tony McNutty, vice president of Value Category Business Management at Sony Mobile Communications, according to Sony Mobile official blog.
"Xperia C4 caters to consumers that want a smartphone that not only takes great photos, but also packs a punch. Benefiting from Sony's camera expertise, the 5MP front-facing camera with wide-angle lens lets you capture perfect selfies while its quality display and performance features provide an all-around smartphone experience."
The Sony Xperia C4 will be available in Single SIM and Dual SIM in select markets starting in June. As for the price, the PC Advisor reported that the Xperia C3 launched at around £200 while the upcoming device might be around £250 to £300.
Furthermore, the main feature of Sony Xperia C4 is the 5MP front-facing camera with 24mm wide-angle lens. It has a soft LED flash and HDR features that allow the pictures to be in good quality even if the subject is on low light conditions.
The device rear camera has 13MP with 4x digital zoom, HDR for photos and videos and a full HD video recording with 1080p.
Moreover, the device is powered with a 64-but Octa-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB flash memory that can be expanded up to 128 GB via MicroSD card.
The device has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 with a Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and super vivid-mode that offers clarity and color brightness.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system with 2600 mAh, which lasts up to 12 hours and 47 minutes talk time and up to 682 hours on standby time.
In addition, the company said that the Sony Xperia C4 is compatible with more than 195 Sony NFC-enabled devices including Stereo Bluetooth Headset, SmartBand Talk and more.
