'Tekken 7' Character Yoshimitsu Returns; Character Available On May 12 In Arcades

Fan-favorite Yoshimitsu has returned to the upcoming video game, "Tekken 7."

Bandai Namco, the developer of "Tekken 7," has added that Yoshimitsu will join other characters that would be available in the arcades on May 12 as reported by Event Hubs.

The Attack Of The Fanboy added that Yoshimitsu in "Tekken 7" has sported an all-new look.

"Yoshimitsu has always been a favorite for many Tekken gamers. He will be sporting an all-new look for Tekken 7. His kind of looks like an octopus in the new game. He has a lot of funny looking tentacles on his body," the article said.

In addition, the "Tekken 7" character Yoshimitsu will still use his sword to fight. As of the writing, Bandai Namco is yet to confirm a console version of the game, but it is expected on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

According to reports, release date announcement is expected at the San Diego Comic Con under Bandai Namco Fighting Game Panel within this year, which is currently set on July 25, cited Venture Capital Post.

However, the Christian Today reported the rumor suggesting that the game release date for PS4 and Xbox One console will be announced at EVO tournament.

"Speculations claim that the release date of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of the long running fighting game will be announced during the game's showcase at this year's EVO 2015 tournament in Las Vegas scheduled on July 17 to 19 this year, since the game is listed as one of the titles that will be featured in the fighting game event's roster," it said.

Overall, the "Tekken 7" has 25 playable characters including latest character Yoshimitsu, Asuka, Alisa, Bryan, Claudio, Dragunov, Devil Jin, Feng, Heinachi, Hwoarang, Jin, Gigas, Josie Rizal, Katarina, Kazuya, Kazumi, Lars, Law, Leo, Luck Chloe, Lili, Paul, Shaheen, Steve and Xiaoyu.
