An image of the Xiaomi Mi4 successor dubbed the Xiaomi Mi5 has appeared on Weibo, and this time it claims to have more hardware specifications detailed.

Last year precisely in this month of July, Xiaomi launched its flagship, the Mi4, and now Xiaomi's Mi 4 successor, reportedly dubbed the Mi 5 has been leaked with full specs alongside purported pricing. The new leaked details come from China's Weibo, which also hinted at the innards of the bigger variant of the Xiaomi Mi 5, believed to be dubbed the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus. The Mi 5 will be priced at CNY 2,399 (about $386), according to reports on NDTV Gadgets.

The handset will reportedly include a 5.2-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) LCD display and will sport Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for added protection. Moreover, the Mi 5 is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor; however there is currently no detail available on the RAM value. For creativity, the smartphone will reportedly sport a 16MP rear camera and a large 13MP sensor on the front.

Regretfully, there is no word on inbuilt storage on the smartphone.

Nevertheless, this latest leak is somewhat more legit than the previous ones owing to the fact that it comes from a tipster account that has spilled credible beans quite a few times in the past, including on the latest Mi prototype.

That being said, the leak mostly confirms what has already been speculated about the Mi 5, so there is every chance the new device will come with a Snapdragon 810 chipset, coupled with 3GB of RAM, PhoneArena noted.

The tipster KJuma also noted that the smartphone will boast a 3000mAh battery, which is comparatively smaller than the Mi 4's 3080mAh battery. The Mi 5 is believed to charge 30 percent in 40 minutes, which seems less when compared to other QuickCharge supporting handsets.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 will run Android 5.1 Lollipop and was earlier reported to launch in July. However recent leaks hint a November release. In fact, if a recent leak is anything to go by, the Xiaomi's next flagship will come with a built-in fingerprint scanner.

All these leaks should be taken with a grain of salt as Xiaomi has not mentioned anything about the upcoming smartphone which leaves the leaks' legitimacy questionable.

The tipster has also leaked specs of the alleged bigger variant of the Mi 5, the Mi 5 Plus. If the leaked spec is anything to go by, the Mi 5 Plus features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels), like the Mi Note Pro launched earlier this year.

As far as other specs are concerned, the leak hints that it will include a Snapdragon 820 SoC, a 3500mAh battery. The smartphone will reportedly charge from 0 to 100 percent in 50 minutes. In addition, the Mi 5 Plus will sport a mammoth 23MP rear camera with OIS and laser autofocus.

A 12MP front camera will also be on board.
