"IRIS 2" Kim Young Chul breaks his son, Jang Hyuk's heart when he ends his own life.

April 17, an episode of the KBS drama "IRIS 2" featured Mr. Black (Kim Gap Soo) getting in contact with Baek San (Kim Young Chul). A scene in this episode features Baek San trying to make a deal with Yoo Joong Won (Lee Beom Soo) to make a trade for the nuclear weapon.

Wishing that the involvement between his son Jung Yoo Gun (Jang Hyuk) and Mr. Black would end, Baek San tells his son that he wishes for a normal life for him and Ji Soo Yeon (Lee Da Hae). With tears in his eyes, he makes a brave confession.

Unexpectedly, Baek San attaches explosives to his body and goes to see Mr. Black for an attempt for suicide bombing. His actions were the result of his careful assumption of how things will end up in the future.

Jung Yoo Gun calls out to Baek San as "Father" and tries to stop him but Baek San only smiles and ends his own life, taking Mr. Black with him. All of this was to end the war so that his son can finally live happily.
