Kate Middleton's Brother James Loses Big Money In Business; Duchess Uses Royal Family's Money To Help?
Kate Middleton's brother James is reportedly trying to follow the footsteps of their parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, in establishing a lucrative business.
Carole and Michael created their company, Party Pieces, which reportedly gave the Middletons their fortune.
However, it seems that Kate Middleton's brother isn't doing so well in managing his business ventures. According to rumors, James Middleton has been losing big bucks in his entrepreneural projects, causing him to lose money instead of making it.
"James has run not one but two cake-based businesses into the ground, and a third attempt at entrepreneurial endeavors appears to be coming," Celeb Dirty Laundry reported. "'Boomf,' the oddly named marshmallow image-printing company lost nearly $390,000 in a year."
"James' idea for 'multisensory' marshmallows allows customers to have any image they'd like printed onto marshmallows. The business started with nearly $1,558,000, so it's not yet in the red, but the signs of another failure are showing."
According to the report, it was not revealed initially that James Middleton was involved in the entrepreneural venture. However, the last name "Middleton" being involved in the business was eventually released, in the hopes of improving its image and saving the business - efforts that were purportedly futile.
There are speculations that Kate Middleton will do everything to help his brother who's currently in financial distress because of the failed ventures.
"It's probably a safe bet that Kate and Prince William have their part in financing the Middletons," the website speculated.
"The entire family certainly seems to have little qualms with using their status to get what they want. James and Pippa Middleton leading the charge of sponging off the Duchess of Cambridge's power."
Despite a business that's losing money fast, Kate Middleton's brother and sister, have been spotted soaking up the sun in the Carribean, along with their mother, Carole, according to Daily Mail.
