Prince Charles and Princess Diana's marriage has been much speculated about throughout the years, even after Lady Di passed away.

It has been rumored that the marriage of Prince William and Prince Harry was unhappy, because Prince Charles was purportedly in love with Camila Parker Bowles from the start.

Now, a royal family insider revealed that the "People's Princess" allegedly tried to get out of the wedding at the last minute, but she was purportedly not allowed.

"She knew Charles was in love with Camilla, Diana was in tears as she confided in her sisters that she couldn't marry him," the source reportedly told Globe Magazine. "But, her sisters told her it was too late to back out."

However, Princess Diana purportedly wasn't the only one who wanted out. Allegedly, Prince Charles also didn't want the wedding to push through because there's only one woman in his life - Camila Parker Bowles.

"Unbeknownst to Princess Diana, Charles was reportedly trying to get out of the wedding at the last minute too - but the royal family's aide that he confided in told him that it was not an option," Celeb Dirty Laundry said.

"So, Princess Diana went ahead and married Prince Charles, knowing all along that he was already in a relationship with the very married Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla Parker-Bowles."

According to the report, it was purportedly obvious from Prince Charles and Princess Diana's wedding photos that they're not in love and happy about getting married.

Despite Prince Charles being married to Camila Parker Bowles now, previous rumors claimed that the Duchess of Cornwall is still hurt that she's always being compared to Princess Diana.

Some speculate that Princess Diana's memories could be the reason that worsened Camila's alleged feud with Kate Middleton.

Kate Middleton has purportedly been exerting efforts at keeping Princess Diana's memories alive, allegedly emphasizing Camilla Parker Bowles as "the other woman" in contrast to the "People's Princess."
