With Miley Cyrus hosting, this Sunday Night's MTV Video Music Awards were to have its own share of memorable moments. From the wackiest live performances to the epic award winning speeches to eye-popping outfits, the VMA's had it all.Here's a glimpse of a few MTV VMA Memorable Moments.

Kanye's Epic Outburst

This year Kanye West received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his unforgettable music videos and live performances. But, it was his unscripted speech that was eagerly anticipated by the crowd.

During his rash speech, "he (Kanye) said he got high before getting on stage, sort of apologized to Taylor Swift for interrupting her acceptance speech in 2009," reported ABC News. "(He) explained how his daughter North West has changed him, ranted against MTV and announced that he planned to run for president in 2020."

Taylor and Nicki Teamed Up

Though, Nicki and Taylor exchanged a few tense tweets before the Awards, they teamed up for an opening duet. Later, they ended it with a genuine hug, which would definitely go down into the history of MTV VMA Memorable Moments.

Nicki Vs. Miley

After grabbing the best hip-hop video for "Anaconda," Nicki called out to Miley for criticizing her in a recent New York Times interview. In retort, Cyrus lost a VMA in 2008. This year too Minaj won the award for throwing shade.

Bieber Breakdown

Justin's "What Do You Mean?" turned out to be a high-flying performance at the VMA stage.  After the performance, Justin was overcome by a gush of "emotion and fan reaction," reported ABC News.

Miley's Fashionable Flashes

Miley did not disappoint all those who expected her to shock and rock the VMAs. She turned up in a see-through outfit that barely covered her body. Her psychedelic dance track, "Dooo It!" might have been the weirdest of VMA performances ever. Mix it with Cyrus's hosting gig, it made-it to the MTV VMA Memorable Moments.
