The fight between Johnny Depp and Barnaby Joyce seems to be getting uglier.

Recently, Johnny Depp was at a press conference in Venice for his upcoming film "Black Mass," when he labeled Agriculture Minister Barnaby as a "some kind of sweaty, big-gutted man from Australia."

When a Reporter asked if he would like to take his dogs out on a "gondola" ride through the Venice's canals, Johnny used it as an opportunity to whack Barnaby. However, he did not mention his name.

Depp's panicked minder tried to close the question by referring to it as "not appropriate." But, "No," Depp said, while signaling his minder to shut up instead.

"I killed my dogs," Depp said.  "And ate them. Under direct orders from some kind of sweaty, big-gutted man from Australia," he added while aiming at Barnaby Joyce.

The pun pointed at the tiff between Johnny Depp and Barnaby Joyce, after the "Black Mass" actor had illegally brought his dogs into Australia. It all began in May '15, when the Hollywood actor was filming the "Pirates of the Caribbean" sequel in Australia.

Depp had flown his Yorkshire Terriers Pistol and Boo on his private jet. He had failed to declare them to quarantine. So, the Agriculture Minister threatened to seize the animals and give them a lethal injection.

"If he (Johnny Depp) doesn't take Boo and Pistol (Depp's Yorkshire Terriers) back, we do have to euthanize them," Joyce told jock Kyle Sandilands in a radio interview.

Soon, Johnny flew his dogs back to the US via private jet.

According to Skynews.com, Depp could now be facing a hefty fine and a possible 10-year prison sentence for illegally smuggling his dogs into Australia. His wife Amber Heard had been summoned to appear in Queensland Court on Monday.

Amber had been summoned to answer two counts of illegally importing her pets and a count of producing false documents after she was served with the legal documents in July. She had also taken a swipe at the Australian government and Barnaby Joyce.

"I have a feeling we are going to avoid the land down under from now on, just as much as we can, thanks to certain politicians there," Amber told Sunrise, while promoting one of her movies in June.

A bout between Hollywood star Johnny Depp and Barnaby Joyce seems to be on the cards.
