'Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection' Release Date Confirmed; Naughty Dog Reveals PS4 Bundle Arrives In October
According to Eurogamer.net, the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - PS4 Bundle will be released on October 9 in the US. It would cost $399.99 US/ $449.99 CAD. The bundle would include a 500GB PS4 and the first three games of the "Uncharted" series. The single player campaigns for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception would be included in the bundle, reported the Playstation Blog.
The digital versions of the first three "Uncharted" games would feature remastered graphics, brand-new game modes and a few gameplay refinements. This would make the gameplay smoother than it was on PS3. A new Photo Mode would also be introduced in the enhanced version. It would allow the players to capture epic moments as screenshots.
However, Gamespot has confirmed that the multiplayer modes of the games would not be available for use in the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - PS4 Bundle. Though, the fans who buy the bundle would be given an exclusive access to the multiplayer beta version of "Uncharted 4." They would also have access to the beta test.
The first three versions of the Uncharted series, "Uncharted: Drake's Fortune," "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves" and "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception," have been developed by Naughty Dog. The series have been appreciated by the fans and critics alike for their action-packed environments and highly developed characters.
"Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" would be built around a storyline in which Drake and his brother Sam reunite. The latest addition to the series is believed to take the story forward. It is anticipated that Drake would finally marry his long-time love interest Elena Fisher in this part.
The upcoming game's subtitle, "A Thief's End" suggests that it might be last of "Uncharted" games, though no official statement has been made in this regard.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection - PS4 Bundle would be released alongside the physical copy of the "Uncharted" collection on October 9, 2015. The "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" would be released in March 2016.
