On Tuesday, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton danced with Ellen on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." She was joined on stage by a "mini-me" version of herself in the episode that would be aired on Thursday. The syndicated talk show was taped in a n open-air stage at Rockefeller Center in the presence of hundreds of Clinton's fans.

While on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", Hillary Clinton touched upon certain trending issues like equal rights, college affordability and delivered a few clever lines. She chatted with Ellen about being a grandmother and about her favorite plot line on "Scandal," Bloomberg reported.

Pop singer Pink and comedienne Amy Schumer also joined the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" with Hillary Clinton. Hillary and Schumer joked about ice skates. Later, she swayed to the hits of singer Pink.  She snapped a few photos with a five year old "presidential expert," Macey Hensley, who was dressed in a blue pantsuit just like her.

Ellen questioned ex- U.S. secretary of State, Hillary about the controversy that rose when she had used a personal email account on a private server. "I made a mistake, and I'm sorry for all the confusion that has ensued," Hillary told Ellen. She also said that she hadn't violated any regulations set by the Department of States.

"Don't vote for me because I'm a woman," Hillary told the audience. "But I think if you vote for someone on their merits, one of my merits is I'm a woman," she added.

She recounted an instance of gender discrimination from her past. She told that after her marriage to Bill in 1975, she couldn't have her own credit card. She added that she had to use her husband's credit card even though she was making more money than he was.

While on the show, Ellen noted that Hillary, 67, would be one of the oldest presidential candidates to take office. Clinton had a swift comeback. She said that she felt as "revved up" as she did 20 years ago.

While on the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Macey asked Hilary Clinton what her preferred term would be for her husband if she were the president. "First mate," Hillary suggested.
