'Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen' PC Version Release Date Confirmed To Be On January 2016 By Capcom

Capcom has announced that popular action-fantasy, "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" would be released for PCs on January 15, 2016, gamespot.com reported. The original version of Dragon's Dogma was launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2012. The massive "Dark Arisen," expansion had been launched in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360.

"Right now, nothing's off the table yet," Hiroyuki Kobayashi, Dragon Dogma's producer told 1UP in 2011, moments before the launch of the original game. He added, "But if the PC users out there really are vocal about having this game, then we can definitely consider it."

Nearly, five years after the interview, "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" PC version would be released in 2016. It would feature an extra zone called the "Bitterblack isle." The new isle would open up a fresh quest line replete with exceptional abilities. It would also have a line of new enemies, new weaponries along with other additions.

According to Eurogame.net, the fantasy would be priced at $29.99. Report also said that the "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" PC version would include support for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 controllers in addition to a traditional mouse and keyboard. 

The PC version would offer "increased fidelity" with stunning "high-res" graphics. The game would also come with full Steam platform support.

Capcom-unity.com described "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" PC version as "an awesome, inspired, sprawling fantasy game set in an open world." Reporters said that the game would allow the players to create their own characters and supporting. "Pawns," the AI-controlled characters could also be shared or "rented" online by the players.

"Battle giant mythical beasts, master a variety of distinct vocations, and explore atmospheric dungeons to uncover endless items and loot," Capcom reported.

Currently, Capcom seems to be working on the "remakes" for older games. Alongside, the cult-fantasy "Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen" PC version, Capcom would be developing the remake of a 1998 classic, "Residential Evil 2," polygon.com reported.
