Following the success of "Daredevil," Netflix's New Marvel Series "Jessica Jones" would make a debut in November. According to The Christian Monitor, the show would star "Breaking Bad" actress Krysten Ritter as the lead "Jessica". Reports said that she would build her own detective agency, "Alias Private Investigations" and would also be able to fly along with her other Marvel-ish abilities.

"Jessica Jones" series would also star "Broadchurch" star David Tennant as Kilgrave, Mike Colter as Luke Cage. The line-up also would also include Rachel Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Erin Moriarity, Eka Darville and Wil Traval.

The Guardian reported that Marvel's "Jessica Jones" would be the second part of Netflix's four part action series. Reports said that it would be aired after "Daredevil" and would be followed by "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist." The four part series would eventually lead to Marvel's "The Defender," a series that would link all the four characters.

"Jessica Jones is a very, very different show than Daredevil," Melissa Rosenberg, executive producer revealed in a press tour in July. She added, "We exist in a cinematic universe, (and) the mythology of the universe is connected, but they look very different, tonally they're very different ... That was my one concern coming in: Am I going to have to fit into Daredevil or what's come before? And the answer is no."

During the same interview she Melissa described Jessica as an exceptionally flawed, damaged and interesting character, irrespective of her gender, reported EW.com. According to Netflix, the viewers could expect to get "a suspenseful, edgy look" into Jessica's life as she fights her "demons from within or without."

The Christian Monitor reported that Netflix had made a bold move by introducing the four part Marvel series. They highlighted that planning four shows at a time was a "daring" move as there was no real way to predict how the first show would be received by the viewers.

Netflix's new Marvel Series "Jessica Jones" would debut all 13 of its episodes on November, 20, 2015. A teaser trailer of the show has been released as well.
