The September 6 episode of "I am Cait" captured Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner together at Caitlyn's new house in Malibu.

Reports said that Caitlyn had invited Kris over for a fresh start. Cait wanted her to put aside the past for the sake of their kids Kendall Jenner, 19, and Kylie Jenner, 18. During their first face-to-face meeting, Caitlyn had excitedly asked "Keeping up with the Kardashians" mum Kris if they could start hanging out together.

"Sure, you (Caitlyn Jenner) can come over for a drink," "KUWTK" star Kris Jenner replied. However, when Cait asked her if they could go shopping together, Kris politely refused. "Let's not get carried away," Kris said. She added, "I just want to get to a place where it's comfortable for us to share celebrations together."

According to Inquisitr, it was the first time that Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner had been together since Caitlyn's transition into womanhood. Reports said that Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner together might not have agreed on everything, but they had opened a few lines of communication between them.

The "I am Cait" star felt that it was important for her to have a "great relationship" with her ex-spouse if she wanted to maintain her relationship with her daughters.

"Everything takes time," Kris said in an interview with People last Saturday night. She added, "We're still family. We still have kids together. And it will work itself out."

While on the show, Kris quizzed Caitlyn about her relationship with actress Candis Cayne. The "I am Cait" star retorted with laughter.

Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner together posed for a selfie. Cait surprised Kris by planting a speedy kiss on her cheek. However, Kris seemed to be moved by Caitlyn when she touched her and said that her lipstick was all over her cheek.

"I am Cait" is Jenner's TV program that captures the transition of Olympic winner Bruce Jenner from manhood to womanhood. Though, Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner had together finalised their divorce in December, 2014.

Their tearful sit-down on "I am Cait" might be a clear sign that Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner together want to work around their issues and be a part of each other's family.
