Katie Holmes Hosts Global Citizen Festival In Central Park, NYC; Suri Cruise Shares The Stage With Her Mother

In the first few years, Suri Cruise was always in spotlight (mostly due to the cute faces she'd make as a young child.) However, she had spent some time away from the cameras since her mom, Katie Holmes, and her dad, Tom Cruise, split in 2012. But on Saturday, Sept. 26, Suri, 9, stood up in front of a crowd of thousands at NYC's Central Park, US Weekly reported.

Suri's fashion always made headlines being a star kid. For the event, she wore a pink bow in her hair along with gray leggings. This was couples with a pink and white dress. She also donned a white sweater over top. Her mom, Katie Holmes chose to appear in an all-black look in dark jeans and a leather coat. 

The pair looked adorable as Katie spoke about the festival and the new Global Goals introduced the day prior.

Earlier in the week, Katie shared a cute photo cuddled up with Suri.

The 36-year-old "Ray Donovan" actress encouraged her daughter to wave at the massive crowd. Most of the crowd had gathered to see big acts like Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Pearl Jam, and more. The event was for the fundraising concert to end world poverty. 

Though Suri has appeared in several of her mom's Instagram posts, she last attended a public event back in March at the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards in Hollywood, where fellow A-list kids Zahara, 10, and Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 8, also attended with their mom, Angelina Jolie, who ended up winning Favorite Villain for her lead role in Maleficent.
